You ever partied with a drg/whm? (usually only done by mithra or taru - dex helps) They make an excellent party member when fighting mobs that spam aoe's (gobs, flies). Right up there to cast curaga spells, and the wyvern's healing breaths are no joke. The breaths only occur when someone is critical (orange I think, might have to be red), but happen anytime the drg casts a spell, even if its dia. So the drg can cast a 9mp spell, and the wyvern will heal for (at lvl 67 as that plm is) ~400hp. Im not too sure on this, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Healing Breaths remove some status effects as well. I'm not too sure, I've never had it used on me. I'm a little lost as to why you'd want water dmg vs. undead though..

Yeah, I have to say the water dmg does confuse me a bit, lol. But drg/whm is a interesting sight, if that person knows what they are doing. I saw a video not too long ago of a lvl67 (I think) drg/whm soloing the sea horror. His tactics were pretty great. Just basically fight, dia when his hp gets low, his dragon will heal him for 200+hp, and once the sea horror busted out hundred fists, he super jumped, let the wyvern tank, it got killed, called it out again, and finished the fight. drg/whm can be pretty impressive.

When the wvern does a healing breathe really depends on what the DRG has equipped. If he has the Drachen Armet equipped(AF6) then the wyvern will bust out a healing breath on anyone at 55%ish or less health. If the DRg doesnt have it equiped the wyvern wont do the healing breathe until the person is closer to 33% health.... so a drg/whm can be a good support healer(the reason for the +10 to healing magic) but not until the Drachen Armet. I don't think wyverns breathe cures status ailments Peti but i'm not 100% but with a lvl 30 whm sub(for AF6) most of the -na spells should be available. Plus Divine Seal+Curaga(II)+Super Jump aint bad

I'm pretty sure they changed it to heal status ailments in the latest of updates.

from what i've read a drg/whm can solo T mobs effectively enough to solo. however i dont think it's work until you have Super Jump to put the hate on the wyvern

Status ailments go away when u do a TP move.... every penta lol he will take off a status ailment.....
