Looks awesome. I love how the animations combine the sword and the focus into a staff.
I can't wait to see what the second job is. I'm hoping for Blue Mage and will be a little disappointed if it's Samurai.

I was never a Blue Mage fan in any of the games. Just not my cup o' tea. That said, I didn't play FF11's BLU.
I want to see a straight up sword melee class. Not daggers or anything. Like a sword wielding damage dealing bad ass... but I think SAM will end up being a tank if its introduced.
I think a Geomancer or Time Mage would be cool to see.

I agree. The sword + floating thing = staff was pretty sick. Almost makes me want to play XIV to play RDM. If only they had this class a year ago..

I was just thinking about this kind of thing in other games.. how you equip a weapon as a caster, then it just sits on your hip or strapped to your back. I like that these animations put the thing to use. I may have free time coming up, if I were to, completely hypothetically, join an FFxiv server to roll a rdm, which should I?

full disclosure: I have no idea what I'm talking about
I, sadly, pretty much stopped following FFxiv-related news and such when I stopped playing, so I have literally no clue what the game is like or about since its re-release as Reborn.
All I know, is that I'd probably enjoy playing it with old friends

We're pretty spread out these days, Peti.
We all started on Midgardsormr, but after everyone quit, the remaining players split up. I'm pretty sure Darkmage is still on Midgardsormr (Church Vondarkmage), I'm on Gilgamesh (Kael Skylock), and Mal is on Malboro (Gibblz Grimrock). Angonette and Vistmir played on Leviathan, but I don't remember their names or know if they even still play.
I'm on a hiatus right now, kinda burned out on XIV. I'll be back in a few months.

Oh man, I'm running out of free time, but I'd be tempted to join yall. Right now I'd probably enjoy playing XI over XIV but I can't get any of my XIV friends to play it.

So, I hadn't thought about the process of reactivation until you mentioned it.
I have a physical token here, not sure if it was for Wij's account, or Peti's.. no code it produces seems to work.
I also cant seem to get the secret question right for the password reset.
Any suggestions on how to get this all working again?
Damn, the last time I used this account was 2011, for FFxiv - pre-Reborn!
